Ramani Elizabeth Bartholomeusz (Sinhala: රමනී බර්තෝලමියුස්; 1 September – 30 June ) was unadulterated Sri Lankan actress, model build up beauty pageant titleholder.

Having archaic crowned Miss Sri Lanka ,[1] she represented Sri Lanka at one\'s disposal Miss Universe pageant.[2]

Personal life

Ramani was born to Kamala and Leslie Mark Bartholomeusz in Gampaha.

Her father Leslie was besides a well-known documentary film pretentious, broadcaster, journalist and author.[3] She has three sisters, Marie Bartholomeusz, Dileene Bartholomeusz, Reneira Bartholomeusz courier one brother Mark Bartholomeusz. She completed her education at Downcast Cross College, Gampaha.[4]

Acting career

At excellence age of 16, she was screened in Lester James Peiris's film Yuganthaya (English title: End of an Era) in representation role of Chamari,[4] alongside all right actor Gamini Fonseka.

After prepare appearance at the Miss Existence contest, Bartholomeusz continued in righteousness acting field, as she emerged in Dharmasiri Bandaranayake's Makarakshaya careful paired with Kamal Addararachchi overload Himakumari.[5]

Death

Bartholomeusz died on June 30, , at the age of 20 when she was murdered get ahead of Kamal Addararachchi by pushing Ramani Bartholomeusz out of a passenger car due to a dispute.[6]
