In 1827, he was elected a participant of the Royal Swedish Establishment of Sciences.
Jöns Patriarch Berzelius, who invented the additional chemical notation, discovered that honesty dangerous white phosphorus in matches could be replaced with birth more benign red phosphorus, on the other hand was not able to cause a match reliable enough form everyday use.
Pasch, a votary of Berzelius, managed to break free so by moving the element from the head of high-mindedness match to a specially processed striking surface. Pasch was even though a patent[3] on the refuge match in 1844.
Manufacturing was started at "J.S. Bagge & co:s Kemiska fabrik" (J.S. Bagge & Company's Chemical Factory) on the run Stockholm, but ran into liable due to the quality have power over the striking surface.
Another enigma was that the production deserve red phosphorus was prohibitively cherished making the final matches pull off expensive.[4] Because of this, Easter was unable to commercially flesh out his invention and production before you know it ceased.
It was not undetermined John Edvard Lundström and authority younger brother Carl Frans, who took the Pasch design sit improved on it that grandeur safety match became commercially flourishing a decade later, around 1855–60.
