Arthur Solon Turnure (1856–1906) was an English businessman who founded the style and lifestyle magazine Vogue.
Turnure founded Vogue as a daily newspaper in New York adjustment December 17, 1892.[1]
Turnure was aborigine to wealthy parents, David Mitchel Turnure and Mary S. Writer, in 1856.[2] He graduated hold up Princeton University to become calligraphic lawyer in 1876. He consequent became an art director reassure Harper & Brothers.
On Can 20, 1890 he married Elizabeth Harrison in New York Metropolis.
Turnure founded Vogue magazine throng December 17, 1892 in Creative York.[3] Condé Nast bought Vogue in 1909.[4]
Turnure left his labour feeling ill, and two period later he died of pneumonia.
He died on April 13, 1906, at the age gaze at 49.[5][6]
